Putting on a set of press-on nails is a straightforward process. This page will give you an in-depth guide on choosing the right size and how to put on your press-on nails

What size should I pick?

1. The first method is to use a soft ruler. You should use it to wrap around your fingernail and measure the curvature of your finger.

2. If you don't have a soft ruler, using a piece of paper or a tissue to mark the length of the curvature.

Note: Please note that all measurements are in mm.

Cleaning

Start by ensuring your natural nails are clean and dry. Remove any old nail polish and gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher.

File down

Use nail clippers or a nail file to trim your nails. So that the gel has a polished clean surface to stick to.

Wiping

Use a cotton pad soaked in rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to clean your natural nails. This removes any oils or residues, ensuring better adhesion of the press-on nails.

Pressing gel

Generally, you'll either apply a small drop of nail glue to the back of the press-on nail or peel off the adhesive backing from the tabs.

Placement

Carefully press each press-on nail onto your natural nail, starting from the cuticle and pressing down firmly towards the tip. Hold each nail in place for a few seconds to ensure a secure bond. Repeat this process for all of your nails.

Compressing

There might be any trapped air inside of the nails, so after placing the press-on nail be sure to gently push the air out to allow for better retention.

Voila!

Allow the adhesive or glue to fully set before using your hands for any tasks. Once set, you're ready to flaunt your new set of press-on nails!
